The retro hoops

These stunning statement earrings are created using  large rich brown/ dark orange coloured sardonyx ovals, turquoise blue magnesite and gold plated accent beads.

With a classic 70s vibe these earrings are really fun and totally retro. They pair just as easily with a beach dress,  and shorts or more dressy evening look. The hint of colour in the magnesite is particularly effective at offsetting the tranquility of neutrals.

Sardonyx is one of the birthstones of August and it’s properties date back to ancient times. Roman soldiers wore sardonyx rings with the image of Mars carved on them for protection in battle. Today, this birthstone is associated with courage, happiness and clear communication, bringing stability to marriage and partnerships.
